How-to guides — Sales¶
Every guide answers one precise business task. For a sale carried from end to end, follow the Getting started tutorial first.
The sales documents¶
- Create a quotation — price a request, send it, have it accepted
- Convert a quotation into a purchase order — go from the agreement to the sale
- Create a purchase order — sell without a prior quotation, and confirm the sale
- Generate an invoice — at once, by down payments, by advances or by situations
- Create a credit note — discount, allowance, rebate or invoice cancellation
The customers and the catalog¶
- Create a customer and grant discounts — turn a contact into a customer, its discounts, its special prices, its exempted taxes
- Price a product for sale — fixed price or per tranche, taxes, discounts, prices per customer and per point of sale
Cashing and tracking¶
- Cash a settlement and refund it — from a document, with its mode and its transaction reference
- Track the deadlines of a customer — the deadlines due, their settlement, their export
- Consult the cash receipts — read, close and invoice a receipt come from the Cash register
Steering and organization¶
- Put a sales team together — the teams, their sellers, the Seller field of the documents, the interfacing with the inventory
- Generate the reports of the module — sales statistics, upcoming deadlines, settlements of the period, customer ledger
Going further¶
- Concepts — the cycle of the documents, their statuses, the receipts, the referentials
- Reference — the dashboard indicators and the permissions
